Seated meditation and yoga asana are a brilliant pairing, both practices that cultivate deeper presence and mindfulness. Join us to experience the symbiosis between the two practices and how they feed one another. This class will begin with a discussion of both practices, followed by a short asana practice to prepare the body to sit and finishes with a seated meditation. This session is ideal for anyone looking to bridge both worlds, allowing those who are primarily familiar with yoga asana to discover the benefits of meditation for their life and their existing yoga practice as well as those who are strictly into meditation to experience how movement can enhance their seated practice.
